Started this one outside, on the location, finished after couple of months in my studio. 

 

St.Catherine's Hill,  just outside of Winchester, Hampshire, is a local landmark and historical site. Walking up the steep hill is a nice exercise, especially if you are carrying about 17kg (almost 38 pounds ) of weight on your back and in your hands. That's how much equipment I usually carry when painting outside...

 

All my paintings are always treated with thin layer of protective varnish after they dry. 

 

All materials are archival. Painting is signed and sold unframed.
